LA Announcement: Study session is scheduled for Friday @ 8:20 A.M. Pick up a pass from back table if you would like to review for vocabulary quiz. Reminder: Keep both textbooks in locker until you are requested to bring to class. Take great care of both books.
Monday: All LA materials listed on last week’s overview are due today. First vocabulary lesson (literary terms) will be assigned. Copy words into planner. Words will also be posted on my blog. Homework is due Wednesday: Write a clear definition for each word.
Tuesday: First assignment is due today (questionnaire, collage, typed explanation). Be ready to share.
Wednesday: Collect vocabulary homework and review for quiz. In class-first writing workshop entry.
Thursday. Distribute Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird and novel packet. Bring novel and packet to class every day. Homework: Read chapters 1 – 5 by Tuesday, September 7th. Be ready for quiz.
Friday: Vocabulary quiz #1. In-class- second writing workshop entry.
