Tuesday:
- Introduce science fiction / fantasy unit. Students will be asked to find and check in a self-selected novel from one of these genres by Tuesday, January 20th. The book report format will be given at that time.
- In class: Introduce, assign roles, and begin reading Rod Serling’s teleplay “The Monsters are Due on Maple Street.”
Wednesday:
- Finish play and discussion.
- Collect vocabulary homework and review words, if time.
Thursday:
- Writing Workshop (COW’s today only, if needed and qualified)
