7-3 LA Overview

Announcement: Both language arts textbooks will be collected on Friday.
Students who missed last week’s grammar test should make it up on Monday at lunch.

Monday: Vocabulary Lesson (words easily confused). Homework is due Wednesday.

Tuesday: In class novel study of The Acorn People.

Wednesday: Vocabulary review. Continue novel study

Thursday: Continue novel study.

Friday: Vocabulary Quiz. Novel study. Textbook collection.

Upcoming Due Dates:

CHECKPOINT/DUE DATE #3: Monday: May 23rd (3 typed chapters should be submitted)
FINAL BOOK OF MEMORIES: THURSDAY, MAY 26TH.

Monday: Last day in class to work on COWs.

Tuesday: Return all graded chapters. Students must now take home all pieces in order to compile into final Book of Memories. Vocabulary lesson (words easily confused).

Wednesday: Distribute HS annotation guide/assignment. Practice annotations on short story.

Thursday: Share Book of Memories. Review for vocabulary quiz.

Friday: Vocabulary Quiz. SSR. Textbook collections.
