Dear Parent(s) and Guardian(s),
Team 8-3 language arts students are in the process of completing a study of Harper Lee’s novel To Kill a Mockingbird. As one of our culminating activities, I plan on showing the 1962 movie version of this novel. Discussions and an extra credit assignment will follow the showing of the movie. The plan is to show the film beginning Wednesday, September 29, 2010.
If you do not wish to have your child watch this movie, please let me know as soon as possible. I will then make other accommodations for your child as well as offer an alternative task.
