- I will return vocabulary quiz #1 on Tuesday. If you wish to raise your score, you may attend retake session at lunch on Thursday. The highest score you can earn is a B on the retake. You must see me for a pass.
- Bring TKAM and novel packet to class every day.
- Take your literature book home, and keep it there until the end of the school year. We will use a class set when needed. Keep grammar book in your locker until requested. I will post signs when needed.
Tuesday: TKAM Quiz on Chapters 1- 5 is today. In class: Discuss this section of novel and review vocabulary from Chapters 1 – 5.
Wednesday: In class: Lesson on vocabulary for Chapters 6 – 11 and Writing Workshop. Homework: Do page 2 and 4 in TKAM packet. Due tomorrow.
Thursday: Review vocabulary homework. Writing Workshop
Friday: TKAM Quiz on Chapters 6 – 11 is today. In class: Discuss this section of the novel and lesson on “local color.” With partner, complete pages 14 – 16 of packet. Homework: Quiz on Chapters 12 – 16 on Monday, 9/13.
