Monday: Vocabulary lesson #4. Homework due tomorrow – write a clear definition for each word. In-class: Read and discuss “After Twenty Years” by O. Henry.
Tuesday: Review vocabulary words and submit homework. Writing Workshop
Wednesday: Finish vocabulary review. In class: Read and discuss “He-y, Come on O-Out” by Shinischi Jones.
Thursday: Homework: End of Unit Writing Assignment (due Tuesday, September 28th). Students will be given several writing options based on stories we studied in this current literature unit. A copy will also be posted on my blog.
Friday: Vocabulary Quiz #4. In-class: Writing Workshop
