ANNOUNCEMENTS:

• Study session for vocabulary quiz #5 is Friday @ 8:20. Be on time.
• Continue reading your novel. Book report is due April 7th.
• There will be no retakes on vocabulary quizzes for 3rd trimester.
• Haiti Food Drive has been extended to March 26th.
• Field trip permission slip and money should be submitted to Ms. Wienke by April 16th.

Monday:

• Finish discussion of last week’s activity (fact/opinion and appeals).
• Vocabulary Lesson #5 - The following assignment is due tomorrow: write a clear definition and use each word in an original sentence.

Thursday:

• Discuss responses to yesterday’s essay.
• Return vocabulary homework and finish review.
• Read and discuss “ Rattlesnake Hunt” by Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings.

Friday:

• Writing Workshop
