Announcements:
- The final writing assignment [Writing Workshop self-selected piece] is due by Monday, November 24th if you have not already submitted it. Requirements and expectations were given verbally, written, and also posted online.
- The last day of the trimester is Tuesday, November 25th. Report cards will go home on Friday, December 12th.
- Upon our return from Thanksgiving break, you will no longer have Health. You will return to your original schedule. In regards to your 9th period Core Extension, report to your original core extension teacher. More details to follow.
- No study session this week.
- Wednesday (No school) – Institute Day
Monday:
- All classes: Collect final drafts of Writing Workshop assignment.
- All classes: Use last week’s syllabus (pages to study), corrected grammar homework, and corrected pre-test as a means to prepare for punctuation post-test.
- 3rd period only: Return grammar homework (due last Friday) and correct and review for punctuation post-test.
- 4th, 7th, 8th, and 9th period: Return graded punctuation homework. Begin in-class creative writing exercise (Alphabet Story).
- Punctuation Post-Test (students who earned an “A” on pre-test are exempt.)
- Share Alphabet Story (in-class creative writing exercise)
