Announcements:
- Graded literary analysis essays were returned last week. Revisions are optional but highly recommended, especially if you earned a C or lower. Revisions are due by Tuesday, November 18th, and you must resubmit the original final draft and the grading sheet.
- The final writing assignment for this trimester has been assigned and is due by Monday, November 24th. Remember to make a careful note of the criteria. We will meet in the Media Center on Wednesday and Thursday for Writing Workshop. Remember to save your work on a flash drive or in your network folder. If you are unable to finish, you must do so y 11/24.
- For the first trimester, the last day to “flag” for teacher-edit (writing notebooks) is Monday, 11/17. Remember to only flag something that has been self-edited (and peer-edited, if possible) in a different color.
Monday:
Return punctuation pre-tests. Students who earned an A (27/30) on pre-test will be asked to do rewrites if they had any errors. For all other students, we will review the errors on your pre-test.
Tuesday:
Continue grammar lesson. In class, we will begin the following. It is homework, if not finished.
Students who earned an “A”: You are exempt from the post-test. Congratulations. Here is your homework:
Read 328-329. Do page 329.
Read 334-335. Do page 335.
Read 394-395. Do page 395.
Attach your rewrites to your homework (all due on Friday).
Students who earned a 26 or lower on the pre-test, here is your homework: (post-test is Tuesday, 11/25)

Friday:
