Announcements:
- Vocabulary Quiz #1 retake opportunity is scheduled for Wednesday, 9/10 during lunch. Students who scored a C or lower can earn up to a 17/20 (B) on retake. It is required that you first have completed the vocabulary assignment. See me for a pass if you need to pick up your hot lunch first.
- Continue reading your self-selected realistic fiction novel. Book report format was distributed last week. This is also posted on my blog. Book Report due date: by Wednesday, 10/1.
- Bring your novel to Core Extension on Friday for SSR (silent sustained reading).
- Study session is scheduled for this Friday @ 8:15 A.M. Focus: Extra review of literary terms for vocabulary quiz #2.
