- Congratulations to Miranda T. (1st place winner) and Nora R. (2nd place winner) of the Ethnic Festival Essay Contest. I’m proud that both winners at the 7th grade level were from 7-2! They will be recognized at the annual Ethnic Festival Parade.
- Expository Essay final draft was due last Friday (4/25). Students who have not submitted their final drafts should do a.s.a.p. Five points are deducted each day the assignment is late. Graded final drafts will be returned to students next week (Monday).
- Spelling Bee: 1st and 2nd place winners of classroom rounds will earn extra credit. The 7th grade round will be held in C307 during advisory.
- SSR-Wednesday. Bring reading materials.
- Study session is this Friday @ 8:15. Students who wish to review for the vocabulary quiz should ask me for a morning pass. Remember: there are no retakes on vocabulary quizzes this trimester.
- Last day to submit extra credit (handout on myth, which was distributed on 4/23) is due on Monday, 4/28.
